Do you find yourself in the Fire Swamp of last minute crafting? Maybe due to procrastination or an innate ability to have a perpetual positive outlook on your ability to bend the space time continuum?
Fret not, here is one of six patterns that can help you out of that sticky situation of needing a last minute hand made gift. Something cozy and warm, stylish and modern, infinitely wearable and lightning fast to knit up!

Candy Hat is a great last minute project and perfect if you need one more gift!
Don’t let the name fool you, the slouchy hat looks great in any color combo, bright or muted and works well with or without a pompom.
Need a bright spot in your dreary day? Knit it up in some cheery and bright colors. Or use natural and brown tones to blend in with any wardrobe.
The slip stitch pattern is easy but keeps your interest with just enough patterning to not feel boring, yet simple enough to work on at knit night.

With 2 skeins of the Water Green and 1 skein Cactus Flower you can make all three, the Candy Cowl, Candy Hat and the Headband!
The pattern reminds me of those old
fashioned pillow shaped hard candies with colorful stripes.
