Candy Headband
Do you find yourself in the Fire Swamp of last minute crafting? Maybe due to procrastination or an innate ability to have a perpetual positive outlook on your ability to bend the space time continuum?
Fret not, here is one of six patterns that can help you out of that sticky situation of needing a last minute hand made gift. Something cozy and warm, stylish and modern, infinitely wearable and lightning fast to knit up!
Candy Headband is a wide, super quick to knit headband with squish factor.
The slip stitch pattern is easy but keeps your interest with just enough patterning to not feel boring, yet simple enough to work on at knit night.
Generally headbands and my head don’t get along too well. For some reason, as soon as I as much as lift an eyebrow, most headbands eject off of my head and into space. That’s why I made this one just a bit wider and that, combined with the fluffiness
of this yarn, makes all the difference. I suspect it might work for you as well.
Plus you can knit it up in no time flat, making a perfect last minute gift!
With 2 skeins of the Water Green and 1 skein Cactus Flower you can make all three, the Candy Cowl, Candy Hat and the Headband!
The pattern reminds me of those old
fashioned pillow shaped hard candies with colorful stripes.
