This colourful scarf has a slit near one end for looping the flared end through.

It was made with the ten shades of the Stylecraft Special Chunky ‘Parchment’ pack, comprising one ball of each of the following shades:-

Parchment (1218), Pomegranate (1083), Sage (1725), Pale Rose (1080), Saffron (1081), Spice (1711), Empire (1829), Gold (1709), Pistachio (1822), and Storm Blue (1722).

However that’s a whole kilogram of yarn, and you won’t need much of some of the colours, so you can easily reduce the number of shades down as far as five or six if necessary.
