Candy Stripe Scarf
This plush scarf will keep you snug in any weather and bring a joyful pop of colour to even the greyest day.
This pattern can be worked with any self-striping yarn. You’ll get different striping results depending on the patterns in the yarn. Sample in photos is done in Bernat Pop! Paisley Pop.
Gauge is not particularly important for this project, keeping in mind a tighter gauge will create a warmer but stiffer fabric, while a looser gauge will make a more drapey (but less dense) fabric.
You’ll need 2 balls of your chosen yarn.
Size: Finished scarf measures approx. 8” x 78”. Length can be adjusted as desired by adding/removing rows in the body section. To make the scarf wider or narrower, add/reduce stitches in multiples of 2.
Techniques used: knit, purl, cast on, bind off.
