Candy Stripes
The pattern includes casual pullover and cardigan for every day.
The sweater is worked from the top down, shaping the yoke to the underarm, where the body and sleeves are worked separately. The button bands for the cardigan are worked at the same time as the body. You can choose your own colours to make it personal.
Size
newborn, 3-6, 6-12 months, 1-2 years

The ease of the sweater is approx. 3 inches (7-8 cm)
(18 1/2, 20, 21 1/2, 23 1/2) inches / (47, 50.5, 54.5, 59.5) cm
Gauge
22 sts x 28 rows = 4”/10 cm square in stockinette st using 4 mm (US 6) needles or size necessary to obtain gauge.
In the pattern I used 4mm needle for Drops Lima and 4.5 mm for Lana Grossa, Coole Wool Alpaca
Yarn
You will need 5 yarns of various colors. They don’t need to be exactly the same yarn, as long as they are similar - great for using up your stash!
The sample was made from two types of yarn:
DROPS, Lima (65% Wool, 35% Alpaca, DK weight, 50 gr, 109 yrds/100 m): powder pink, red, light beige.
Lana Grossa, Cool Wool Alpaca (70% Wool, 30% Camelied, worsted, 50 gr, 153 yrds/140 m): blue (18), grey (7)
The whole amount of yarn for the sweater: (100, 100, 150, 150) g
Needles
The needle size for the sweater can vary depending on the weight of yarn you use.
I recommend 4mm for DK and 4.5mm for worsted, or whatever size you need to obtain gauge. The needle size for the ribbing is the same for both yarn weights.
Size 4 or 4.5 mm (US 6 or 7) circular needles, 16”(40 cm) long
Size 4 or 4.5 mm (US 6 or 7) DPNs for sleeves
Size 3 mm (US 2.5) DPNs for cuffs
Size 3 mm (US 2.5) circular needles for hem and neck band
