Canela Poncho
The poncho is worked in one piece, beginning at the Front bottom edge. Stitches are bound off to create a neck opening. Then stiches are picked up for the Button Bands at the Right Shoulder, the Collar at the Neck opening, and the Side Edges along the right and left sides.
Though the poncho is worked flat (back and forth in rows) a longer circular needle is required to accommodate the large number of stitches, especially when picking up stitches along the side edges.
