Canela Cardigan
Canela (Cinnamon) is an engaging and very cozy cardigan. Its collar lifted with front opening and its edge designed arrow-shaped adds a modern touch to this more vintage footprint model.
The buttons are optional items and, breaking the “rule”, they were purposely positioned on the right edge because I am right-handed and I dress alone.

Finished sizes (with positive ease): Sizes: S, M, L . Bust: 92 (100, 110) cm, or 36 (40, 44) inches contour.

Yarn: Cisne Cetim, 100g/170m, composition: 70% acrylic, 30% wool, Aran (8 wpi).

The final piece made in size S weighs 508g, and used 864 meters/945 yards.

Needles: 5.5mm (9 US) (5 UK) circular needle, or to obtain gauge. And 4mm (6 US) (8 UK) or 4.5mm (7 US) (7 UK) circular needle for the bottom edge and the cuff.

Gauge: 17 sts and 21 rows per 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette stitch.

Canela é um cardigan envolvente e bastante aconchegante. Sua gola levantada com abertura frontal e sua orla projetada em forma de seta acrescentam um toque moderno a este modelo de pegada mais vintage.
