The Cannoli Cowl pattern features the intarsia colorwork technique and encourages the development of good tensioning as well as fun color mixing in an easy level pattern.

This cowl pattern was inspired by the cannoli sold at La Festa, the Italian food festival in my hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania. La Festa takes place at the end of Summer when it’s still warm and the downtown fills up with pizza and Italian dessert vendors, all of which are delicious!

Yarn: Three colors are used, one for the body of the cannoli (what would be the shell), one for the color of the filling, and a background color.
Color 1 (C1): Maple Heather, approx. 58g/128 yds
Color 2 (C2): Lime Green, approx. 15g/33 yds
Color 3 (C3): Chestnut, approx. 50g/110 yds
