Canticle means ‘little song’ in Latin. I stumbled across the Canticle of the Creatures by St Francis of Assisi in the movie “Brother Sun and Sister Moon” directed by Franco Zeffirelli and fell in love with the “Brother Sun” and “Sister Moon”, “Brother Fire” and “Sister Water”. :o)
CHARTS ONLY. No line by line description.
Top down Crescent shape shawl. The amount of yarn will depend on the yarn used and gauge (needle size). Between 400m and 600+m.
1503 beads. Testers achieved various sizes (48cm-63cm) measured down the centre of the shawl towards the scallop, depending on the yarn , gauge and blocking. The shawl width grows more than the depth with the increase of size.
Please see the test thread.
