Este lenço é tricotado em ponto mousse com uma ourela em renda por música e a outra em cordão (i-cord). A renda está escrita com a simbologia tradicional das “rendas por música”. É um padrão muito simples que vai memorizar rapidamente e disfrutar de tricotar ao som desta cantiga. Começamos com poucas malhas e tricotamos
com aumentos até meio do xaile, depois com diminuições até ao final.

This shawlette is knitted in garter stitch with an i-cord selvage and another in a “lace by music” pattern. Lace by music is just another way of writing lace edging patterns. It is very traditional in Portugal and we use symbols to represent the yarn over and the decreases. It’s a straightforward pattern that I’m sure you’ll memorize quickly and let the music guide you. We start with a few stitches and work with increases to the half of the shawl, then decreases for the other half.

Lace by music:
0 = yarn over
X = work 2 sts together
Example: “3 00X 00X 1” reads “k3, double yarn over, k2tog, double yarn over, k2tog, k1”

Este chal está tejido en punto bobo con un orillo en i-cord y otro en un patrón de “encaje por musica”. Encaje por música es solamente otra forma de escribir patrones de puntos calados. Es muy tradicional en Portugal y usamos símbolos para representar las lazadas y las disminuciones. Este es un patrón muy simple que estoy segura que memorizarás rápidamente y dejarás que la
música te guíe. Comenzamos con pocos puntos y trabajamos con aumentos hasta la mitad del chal, luego disminuciones en la otra mitad hasta el final.
