Canyonlands
The yarn to knit this hat is available at www.kristeninstitches.com
Canyonlands National park is is a stunning array of canyons, mesas, and arches creating some of the most gorgeous views around. I’ve wanted to visit this park for quite some time and when I was researching parks for this series, I couldn’t get a particular image of Canyonlands out of my mind that showed a gorgeous view of the park at sunset. It served as the inspiration for both color and pattern.
This hat features a mock honeycomb pattern that adds even more texture to the yarn and color that I created. The color, “Mesa Arch” features shades of reddish orange, peach and brown with tones of deep bluish purple. In a squishy Aran-weight yarn, this pattern knits up quickly and easily. I hope you enjoy this trip to the Canyonlands!
Written for three sizes (Largest size is shown), you can easily make this hat for anyone in the family! Happy knitting!
