Cape Cod Stripes
This pattern is written in US terms.
Skill level for this throw is EASY.
Knowing Fsc is a definite plus. (Video link included.)
Back in 2014, I had a stripe idea that I paired with linen stitch to make a simple afghan. As I worked it, it grew and grew, determined to be some kind of monster that could cover a driveway. I frogged back to the beginning, re-crunched the numbers, and started forward again. Much better after that, but still larger than what I’d been envisioning. When I finally put the pattern together for others, I played with the numbers again so this will turn out to be a decent throw; smaller than a full blanket, but just the right size for curling into on the couch when the evening is chilly.
