The cape is knitted in doubleface technique, which is explained within the instructions. The finished cape has an open front, which flatters the silhouette, and of course it is reversible.
The upper part of the neck is made as a cowl and can be adjusted with a cord-string.

The cape is knitted in four steps:
You start with an i-Cord, then make a drawstring in stockinette stitch, followed by the cowl as third step doubleknitted in the round (42 rounds). These 3 steps are followed by knitting the actual cape: 92 rows with raglan increases and i-cord edges. The instructions are best suitable for intermediate and advanced knitters.
The cape is one size:
The cowl part measures approx. 18 cm (7’’), followed by another 46 cm (18’’) from collarbone to hemline.
The maximum circumference at hemline is 190 cm (75’’).

Das Cape ist beidseitig tragbar und wird in sogenannter Doublefacetechnik gestrickt, die in der Anleitung ausführlich erklärt wird. Es ist vorne offen, was der Silhouette schmeichelt, und am Hals geschlossen, so dass man es beim Anziehen über den Kopf zieht. Der Halsbereich kann mit einer Kordel justiert werden. Das Cape wird in vier Schritten gestrickt, die aufeinander aufbauen.
Zuerst wird eine Kordel hergestellt, dann folgt ein Tunnelzug in glatt rechts, als drittes der Halsbereich und als vierter Schritt das eigentliche Cape mit Raglanlinien und I-Cord Kanten (siehe Grafik auf Seite 2). Die Anleitung ist für fortgeschrittene StrickerInnen wie auch für mutige AnfängerInnen geeignet.

Die Maße des Capes sind:
Halsbereich / Cowl: ca. 18 cm.
Offenes Cape (ca. Schlüsselbein bis unterer Saum): 46 cm
Max. Durchmesser am unteren Saum: 190 cm.
