My future MIL gave my the idea for this cape. I saw her often with a cardigan around her shoulders when her “upper half” was cold. Then I thought “she’s ripe now for a self-knitted cape.” ;-)
After finishing the cape now, I almost regret now to give it away, but at least it remains in the family.
At some point I will knit the Marga Cape for myself, too. Or I’ll wait some years and hope that my son chooses the right wife :-))
