Cape Woolamai
Cape Woolamai is worked seamlessly from the top. There is short row shaping to form the dropped shoulders that are detailed with an easy to knit fake seam that sits to the back of the shoulder cap.
The back and front are worked separately to the armhole, then the neck stitches are picked up to knit a high crew band that is joined to the body with a fake seam.
The back and front are joined to work the body in the round to the hem. There are 2 versions.
- Knit the body with a cropped blouson front and cape-like shape for the back.
- Knit a conventional, easy fitting body shape. Both versions have a fun-to-knit bobble flower pattern on the sleeve and body bands.
