Caperuzo Bonnet (english version)
This bonnet style hat is simply adorable. It is a warm accessory, simple to make, and with a vintage touch that brings a lot of style to the little ones. It is constructed in a single piece, from a rectangle that combines plain rows of single crochet and others with popcorn stitch.
In the original version I decided to knit it in a single tone of superwash merino wool and DK thickness, but those playful balls can be made in a contrasting color, in fade and, why not, in various shades. The result is always charming: a comfortable, warm and firm hat, thanks to the cord that holds it in place and keeps the ears covered.
The Caperuzo Bonnet is a great alternative for children under two years old, but you can also adapt it to older children, with the pattern explanations. It is quick to knit and you can have different color versions depending on the outfit, or create a unique gift. For that baby on the way, birthday, Christmas or simply as a token of affection, this hat never disappoints.

Difficulty level: Basic. The pattern includes detailed instructions, diagrams and supporting videos.

Required techniques: Basic flat crochet stitches and raised stitches.

Yarns used:
• Casasol DK Superwash Merino Wool (100% Superwash Merino), Mustard color / 100 grams (3.0 oz) – 200 Meters (218 yards).

Yarn thickness: DK

Crochet required: 3.5 mm.

Other tools and materials: wool needle, stitch markers, scissors.

Gauge: 19 stitches x 24 rows = 10 x 10 centimeters (4 x 4 inches approximately).

• Make 24C. • Row 1: Crochet 1SC in the second st from the crochet. Then work 1 SC in each st until the end. • Row 2: Turn the knitting, make 1C and 1SC in the first st. Then work 1 SC in each st until the end. • Rows 3-27: Repeat Row 2.
Check that the thickness of your yarn is similar to that used in the original design and that you are knitting at the correct tension. If the tension is different for you, try increasing or lowering the crochet number accordingly.

Gorro Caperuzo (versión en español)
Este gorrito estilo capota es sencillamente adorable. Se trata de un accesorio cálido, simple de realizar y con un toque vintage que aporta mucho estilo a los más pequeños. Está construido en una sola pieza, a partir de un rectángulo que combina filas lisas de punto bajo y otras con punto pop corn.
En la versión original, decidí tejerlo en un solo tono de lana merino superwash y grosor DK, pero esas pelotitas juguetonas pueden hacerse en un color contrastante, en fade y, por qué no, en varias tonalidades. El resultado es siempre encantador: un gorro cómodo, abrigador y firme, gracias al cordón que lo sujeta y de paso logra que las orejas permanezcan cubiertas.
El Gorro Caperuzo es una súper alternativa para los menores de dos años, pero también puedes adaptarlo a niños más grandes con las explicaciones del patrón. Es rápido de tejer y puedes contar con distintas versiones de color según la tenida, o crear un regalo único. Para ese bebé que viene en camino, cumpleaños, Navidad o simplemente como una muestra de cariño, este gorrito siempre es un lindo detalle.

Nivel de dificultad: Básico. .

Técnicas requeridas: Puntos básicos de crochet tejido en plano y puntos en relieve.

Hilados utilizados:
• Lana Merino Superwash de Casasol DK (100% Merino superwash), color Mostaza / 100 gramos (3.0 oz) – 200 Metros (218 yardas).

Grosor del hilado: DK

Crochet requerido: 3.5 mm.

Otras herramientas y materiales: aguja lanera, marcadores de punto, tijeras.

Muestra de tensión: 19 puntos x 24 filas = 10 x 10 centímetros (4 x 4 pulgadas aproximadamente).
• Haz 24C. • Fila 1: Teje 1PB en el segundo p desde el crochet. Luego teje 1PB en cada p hasta el final. • Fila 2: Voltea el tejido, haz 1C y 1PB en el primer p. Luego teje 1PB en cada p hasta el final. • Filas 3 a la 27: repite la Fila 2.
Comprueba que el grosor de tu hilado sea similar al utilizado en el diseño original y que estés tejiendo con la tensión adecuada. Si la tensión te queda diferente, prueba subir o bajar el número de crochet según corresponda.
