The simple lace design in this pattern is quick and easy to knit and it is only because of the raglan sleeve decreases incorporated into the shaping of the sleeves that I mark this as an intermediate design. The circular yolk is done in moss stitch on a circular needle and the button and buttonhole bands are worked in moss stitch with a bit of a lacey edge. There are two hidden pockets that are worked into the front panels and edged with moss stitch.
