Capriccio Shawl
In music, a capriccio is a fast and lively piece. The Capriccio Shawl offers the same fun and quick experience, with an easy two-row repeat for the body and a simple edging that ends the piece with a flourish.
The Capriccio Shawl calls for just one skein of fingering weight, though it can easily be adjusted to size, and it pairs amazingly with almost any colorway. The lace pattern is quick and beginner friendly, for a fun and lively project that’s a joy to hook up.

Printing
Both a regular and printer friendly version are available! The regular version includes a large photo on the first page, so print accordingly. The printer-friendly version has only one photo on the cover page, and less spacing so the pattern takes up fewer pages. For more details on what the printer-friendly version includes, see this page. If you are working from the printer-friendly version and are having trouble with a pattern, I strongly recommend checking the regular version. The text will be easier to read and it might have more detailed instructions.
Screen Reader Accessibility
The main pattern pdf is designed to be screen reader compatible. The text is all in one column and headers are formatted according to the style sheet. The pattern is written out completely and the images have descriptive alt text.
