Capricious Shawl
The Capricious Shawl and Cowl are both 20% off through January 21 with the code Capricious.
The Capricious Shawl changes between multiple stitch patterns and colors. The pattern uses three colors, but would look lovely with fewer or even more colors.
The triangular shawl is worked from one vertex. For the first half of the shawl, increase are made at both edges and decreases are made in the middle of the shawl. Then, increases are made only on one edge and decreases are made on the other edge and in the middle.
There is also a matching Capricious Cowl using the same stitch patterns.
Size: The pictured shawl is approximately 79.5”/ 202 cm wide and 23”/ 58.5 cm deep after blocking.
Level: Intermediate/ Advanced
There is one special puff stitch and several different decrease stitches. There is a full picture tutorial.
Yardage:
- C1: Dogwood (Light Pink): 330 yards
- C2: Rubbing Elbows (Dark Pink): 330 yards
- C3: Fragrant Flowering Tobacco (Purple): 390 yards
- Total: 1050 yards
