You asked and it finally here! An adult version of my Captain America inspired blanket! Perfect for any super hero lover or to be the ultimate boy mom on the sidelines! The finished size of the Big One is 60 inches versus the 36 inches of the child version! The star is raised with textured stitching and the blanket is one piece, the star is totally incorporated into the blanket and is not simply sewn on the circle (actually it’s a decagon.) (The pic with the Flash bear is actually the reverse side.) The front and reverse are virtually the same!

The blanket is constructed using 3 strands together and therefore uses 3 skeins of blue, 6 skeins of white, and 9 skeins of red (you do not need full skeins for the last three of red).

Additionally, this blanket is on the heavy side when completed weighing approximately 6.5lbs when completed. This is a perfect weight for a child with sensory issues to use as a weighted blanket!

The pattern is for the experienced beginner or intermediate crocheter. There are ten pages to the pattern and over 15 color photos. I do use abbreviations but the instructions are in more of a conversation style for increased ease, so as long as this is not your first or second rodeo, you can do this!
