Thanks for visiting! This listing is for a Captain Spaulding crochet pattern inspired by one of my favorite Rob Zombie characters. This is considered an intermediate pattern and you’ll need to know how to change colors to have vertical stripes (I did put a couple of visuals in there as well as written directions, but you can visit YouTube® if you need video help).

I like to let you know what supplies will be needed ahead of time.

Red Heart® Yarn Super Saver
Red
White
Royal Blue
Black
Gray (scraps are good since this will be for his beard and sideburns)
Buff
Aran (or other off-white color for the teeth)
Blue and Pink chalk or eye shadow for makeup
3.75mm hook & 2.75mm* (optional: this is used for 2 chicken drumsticks. You may be able to adjust the pattern to use the larger hook if desired)
Fiberfill stuffing
Scissors
Yarn needle
Stitch marker
Wire brush or comb
