Captain's Heart
This little spring blooming flower has so many interesting names: Lieutenant’s Heart, Captain’s Heart, Catching-a-Red-Snapper, Lady-in-the-Bath, and Bleeding Heart. Who knew? This was a bonus pattern for the May sock test knit in the Designers’ Sock Drawer group. It is worked toe-up, has a lace and cable pattern on the instep, and has a band heel. Stitch patterns are charted only. Instructions are minimal and assume sock knitting experience.
