Captivate Fingerless Gloves are cable knit with a garter stitch border and thumb gusset. These mitts are knit in the round on double pointed needles. I used my own hand-spun, hand-dyed wool (which is a bit inconsistent on the gauge) and found that there is slight flexibility in the gauge. (In other words, if the gauge is not exact, but is close, the pattern is pretty forgiving. The gloves size can vary a bit and still work.)
