Saw this is crochet but my crochet is not great so adapted and made into knitted form, photos included to help I used the idea by taking Mary-D crochet pattern (www.craftytuts.com) and making a straightforward stocking stitch pattern with garter stitch borders. I added buttons to keep it close and buttons to open flap and pin inward so no to show rough inside patterning. I’m very grateful for Mary Dickerson allowing me to adapt her pattern to knitting, I take no credit for the idea
