The jacket is worked top down, back and forth on the circular needle.
First knit the upper back, with increases at each side for shoulders. When full shoulder width has been achieved, rest of back is worked straight down then with increases each side for armholes, until full length of armhole.
Stitches are picked up along the RS of the shoulders, and each front is worked to the same length as on the back, at the same time new stitches are cast on for neckline.
Then back and fronts are joined and finalized as one piece with a pocket placed on each front.
Stitches are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are worked top down, with Japanese short rows for shaping the top of the sleeve.
Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline and the collar is worked in garter stitches and shaped with Japanese short rows.

Tivoli is a peculiar place for designer Rikke Eliasen. It’s at once very classic as every single detail has been carefully considered; not a single flower is randomly placed, and yet there’s room for grand gestures, fireworks and it’s all a bit too much in the best way possible.
So, here’s a classic spring jacket with attention to the smallest details, but still with plenty of room for big arm movements.
