Crochet Technique: Traditional Crochet

Final size is approximately 34” x 52” when using size 6 super bulky yarn and 11.5 mm hook. In the example I used one skein each of Bernat Big Ball Blanket in Orange Leaf and Vintage White.
For the pillow I used a 10” x 10” pillow insert.

To complete this crochet blanket and matching crochet pillow you will need:
300g / 10.5oz, 201m / 220yd size 6 super bulky yarn in color A
300g / 10.5oz, 201m / 220yd size 6 super bulky yarn in color B
11.5 mm hook
Scissors
Stitch Marker, optional
Fiber Fill or 10” x 10” pillow insert

Stitches you’ll need to know:
• BLO - back loop only
• CH- chain
• SS - slip stitch
• SC - single crochet
• HDC – half double crochet
•TSC – twisted single crochet
• XHDC – crossed half double crochet
