I was listening to the Housemartin’s version of this song on repeat when I designed this shawl (check out a very young Fat Boy Slim in the video). It fills me with joy and love and hope for the world and I hooked all those good a cappella feelings into this simple and happy shawl.

It’s an easy asymmetric design using two 100g skeins of contrasting (or complementary) fingering weight yarns with kits available from Krityum Handmade on Etsy here.

The kits come with yarn colours of your choice, the pattern and a reusable tote bag for free.

This is a written pattern available in both UK and US terminology.

Edit. To clarify, you will need two 100g skeins of fingering weight yarn for this pattern (I think in the pdf I just say two skeins), apologies for any confusion.
