Walk and walk and keep walking. One step in front of the other. This is a long walk. What a delight when the oasis appears on the horizon! Take a well-deserved rest – and then you are nearly there.

This scarf will keep you busy for a while. It is an easy to knit scarf worked in fingering weight sock yarn, there are no special difficulties hidden in the pattern. Something that you can knit while watching TV. You can of course use any other yarn as well.

The pattern is written and charted.

Difficulty level: advanced beginner (knit and purl, yarn overs and decreases)

Yarn: Lana Grossa Meilenweit Tweed (80% wool, 20% nylon; 211m/50g; 231yds/1.76oz), 3 balls in beige; Lana Grossa Meilenweit Special (80% wool, 20% nylon; 209m/50g; 229yds/1.76oz), 1 ball in blue. Sample in a length of 215cm (86in) used all of it. For each 10cm (4in) in length you will need about 40m (44yds) of yarn.

Needles: 3.5mm/US 4

Notions: yarn needle

Gauge: 30 stitches/32 rows in ribs (blocked) = 10cm/4in.

Size: 25cm (10in) wide. The length is up to you.

Du gehst und gehst und gehst, einen Schritt und dann noch einen. Es ist ein langer Marsch. Welche Freude, wenn am Horizont die Oase auftaucht! Ruh dich aus, du hast es dir verdient – und dann ist es nicht mehr weit.

Dieser Schal wird euch einige Zeit beschäftigen. Er ist einfach zu stricken und wird in 4-fädiger Sockenwolle gearbeitet. Es sind keine wie immer gearteten Schwierigkeiten in der Anleitung verborgen. Etwas, das man so nebenbei stricken kann, während das spannende Fernsehprogramm läuft. Natürlich kann man auch andere Garne verwenden.

Schwierigkeit: einfach (rechte und linke Maschen, Umschläge und Abnahmen)

Garn: Lana Grossa Meilenweit Tweed (80% Wolle, 20% Nylon; 211m/50g), 3 Knäuel in beige; Lana Grossa Meilenweit Special (80% Wolle, 20% Nylon; 209m/50g), 1 Knäuel in blau. Verbrauch für das Beispiel mit 215cm Länge: Alle 4 Knäuel. Für jeweils 10cm Länge muss man in etwa 40m Garn einrechnen.

Nadeln: 3.5mm

Maschenprobe: 30 Maschen/32 Reihen in Rippenmuster (gespannt) = 10cm.
