This hat has a Spade, Heart, Diamond and Club on it for the card shark in your life. It is knit in the round using a slipped-stitch cabling technique. Only one yarn in each round so that the Spades & Clubs are created on odd rounds and the Hearts & Diamonds are worked created on even rounds.
