Cardamom Cardigan Mini
Construction:
Cardamom cardigan is worked from the top down. First, stitches are cast on and increases are made on both the right and wrong side, while working flat to create a contiguous shoulder construction. Increases are made towards the front of the sweater as well.
When all increases for the sleeves have been made, these are put to rest, while the body is worked. At the bottom of the body a rib is worked and finished with double knitting and an Italian cast-off. The sleeves are then worked in the round, while doing decreases at the underside. The sleeves are also finished with a rib, double knitting and Italian cast-off. Finally, the button plackets are worked in double knitting.
