Construction:
The scarf is knitted from tip to tip in double broken rib. Increases are made and the new stitches are worked to fit into the double broken rib pattern, while the two outermost stitches in each side, are worked as selvedge stitches. When all increases have been made, a section with no in- or decreases is made. Afterwards, decreases are made for the scarf to be symmetrical.

Gauge:
22 stitches x 26 rows on 10 x 10 cm in double broken rib.

Before casting on stitches, we recommend that you make a swatch in double broken rib. If the gauge is off your scarf might be longer, shorter, wider, or narrower than the measurements listed in this pattern. Since the precise measurements of the scarf are not crucial, deviations from the gauge can be accepted. This makes this scarf perfect as a project for leftover yarn since many different types of yarn can be used. We achieve the correct gauge on 4 mm needles.
