Cardigan is knitted.

The pattern does not contain lessons on knitting and assumes the presence of basic skills in knitting, such cast on with one knitting needle, knitting (K), decreasing (2 stitches knit together), knit front and back (Kfb), ability to pull off the stitches and hide the tails; sew the parts together.

This 5 page pattern includes instructions with of 11 photos references to instruct you on how to knitted cardigan for Blythe doll step by step.
The file contains a link to a video tutorial on knitting sleeves.

Materials and Instruments:

  • knitting needle 0/2 mm;
  • fingering fine yarn (100 gr./400 m) (4 ply);
  • plastic button;
  • a needle with a big needle-eye.

NB: The cardigan is knitted in turning rows. The sleeves are knitted in circular rows. At the beginning of each row the edge st is slipped (if you knit). The last st is purled. The band is knitted at the beginning of each row. The buttonholes are to be knitted at the left side of the band.
The size fits the Blythe Middie or similar dolls of 20 cm (8”) tall.
