Cardigan Lilly Lace

Lilly Lace is a relaxed, lightweight cardigan that reminds you of the wonderful blossoms in spring. The garment feels comfy and is beautiful to wear. It can be worn in all seasons and you are always dressed pretty.

The cardigan is constructed top-down. The Yoke Chart is knitted in the round with additional nine stitches for the knotted steek (with picture tutorial). All necessary information for increases can be found in Chart A. After completing Chart A steek stitches are put on hold. From this part onwards the cardigan is knitted flat, beginning with several rounds of raglan increases. Thereafter, the sleeve stitches are put on hold. The body and both sleeves are worked separately. The neckline and chest shaping are worked in German short rows. Finally, all steek stitches are frogged back. The strands are cut open in the middle and the threads are woven in chart A. The whole cardigan is edged with an i-cord.
