This is a top-down knit cardigan with raglan sleeves, it’s fully fashioned with indents around the waist and vertical lines/creases that mark “sideseams” and indents, which gives it a tailored look and fit. It is knitted top-down according to a principle that I have learned from my mother, she always knitted sweaters and dresses this way.

There is a short verison in Marianne Isager Alpaca 3, and a long version in Lett Lopi, The gauge is more or less the same so I guess you could make any of the models in either of the yarns. The model with the yellow colour block is not included as a pattern, what you see is created in an unknown handspun yarn from Germany, but could be created in Álafosslopi. The existing patterns could be used to recalculate stitches based on gauge, and of course the colour-way could be created in both Marianne Isager Alpaca and Lett Lopi. The off-white model is the very first one I created made out of an unknown handspun yarn from France, pattern also not included.

Difficulty level: The pattern is a diagram and quite straight forward it doesn’t really include any difficult techniques, you need to know how to knit and purl, increase and decrease that’s all.
