GARMENT CONSTRUCTION:
The cardigan is worked seamless from the top down with Raglan increases. Neckline increases are added later for a nice V-Neck front. Body is worked flat to underarm, then sleeves are separated, and body is finished. The sleeves are later worked in the round. Button band is added last.
YARN:
Yarn: James C. Brett DK with Merino, Colour used: Light Grey 290m per 100g skein
Appr.: 1100 (1200, 1300, 1400, 1650, 1800, 2000, 2200, 2400)m
NEEDLES:
4mm long circular for body (100cm+ to accommodate a large amount of sts)
3.5mm long circular for hemline and button band (100+cm)
4mm short circular or DPN for Sleeves
3.5mm short circular or DPN for Cuffs, or size to obtain the correct gauge.
GAUGE:
20sts x 30rows in a 4x4”/ 10x10cm square in Stockinette stitch using larger needles.
