Cardigan Valetta
The Valetta cardigan is worked seamlessly in rows. You start
knitting in the back, at the armholes, by doing a provisional
cast on. The upper part of the back is knitted up to the neckline,
then the work is divided and both front parts are knitted
separately. The shoulders are shaped with short rows while
continuous increases add width. The back and front parts of the
cardigan are then joined to finish the body in one piece. The
sleeves are knitted in rounds from top down. A delicate lace
pattern accentuates the sleeves.
SIZE
XS S; M; L; XL; XXL; XXXL
The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows:
XS S; M; L; XL; XXL; XXXL = 29 32; 35; 39; 42; 47; 52 “ (74 82;
90; 98; 107; 119; 131 cm) bust circumference (measured at your
body).
The cardigan has a tight fit and should be worn with a positive
ease of 0.4 to 3.” (1 to 8 cm). Example: If your bust circumference
is 35“ (90 cm), you choose to knit size M to get a relatively tight
fitting cardigan with a positive ease of some 1.5“ (4 cm).
