This Cardinal chunky cowl crochet pattern takes just one skein of yarn to make this lovely fashion accessory. The own weave is achieved using a treble crochet stitch. Dress up a pair of jeans with a basic top or add to the beauty of a little black dress.

In order to achieve the look of this stitch pattern,The project is worked flat and seamed at the end. Therefore, you decide the width at the beginning and crochet until the skein is gone or the cowl is the length that you desire. I could not achieve the same look when working in the round.

Size of Crochet Cowl
14 inches wide X 36 inches around. If you prefer a longer infinity scarf style, you’ll need another skein as I used the entire skein of yarn for the size that I made.

If you would like to make this cowl narrower, increase or decrease the stitches by a multiple of 4 plus 6. This particular size cowl is 4 X 10 = 40 + 6 = 46 stitches.
