A new little Cardinal accent for all my cardinal loving friends. These super cute pierogi shaped birds work up super quick and are versatile. Add a Jute twine hanger to the center top to create an ornament, a magnet on the back for a cardinal for your fridge, a key ring for your keys, or whatever you like to show off your creation. Feel free to use any WW4/Aran/10ply yarn you like to create these little friends. Finished cardinal should measure approx. 3” tall by 3.25” wide.

Caron One Pound yarn in red (approx. 14 yds total)
a couple yards of any black & yellow ww4/aran/10ply yarns for accents
H(5mm) Hook
Scissors
Needle
Jute twine, magnet, or key chain (optional)

ST = Stitch
SL= Slip Stitch
CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
picot = SL into the last stitch you completed
