Care Package is a top-down, shoulder warming shawl worked in a ridge stitch pattern that creates lines across the fabric. It can be knit using a single color of yarn or with two colors, using the second color to knit the ridge rows. Use any weight of yarn by changing the needle size to suit the yarn you choose. The finished size will be determined by the amount of yarn you have, the yarn weight, and the needle size you use to knit the shawl. The pictured shawl was knit with one 344 yard cake of Lion Brand Mandala Ombre for a shawl that measured 34” along the neck x 17” deep before blocking.
