This cozy winter accessory is knitted with one color of chunky weigth wool like West Wool Cargo. Begin by casting on at the neck and knit 2x2 ribbing. Stitches are bound off for the face opening followed by decreases to gradually taper the fabric near the sides of the face. The ribbing is knitted flat and then the back center section continues on top of the head for a seamless hooded shape. A final ribbed edging with an I-cord bind off frames the face. Enjoy this quick-to-knit warm winter balaclava!
