Meet the cutest houseplant you’ll ever see: Carl the Cactus Bear. What is even better, is that he isn’t the prickly kind at all. Just fluff and cuddles!

Carl is knitted flat and seamed. The flowerpot is worked with some stranded knitting. The head and arms are attached afterwards.

Yarn:
Samples are made with Stylecraft Special DK (100% acrylic), DK (light worsted) weight,
295m (322yds) per 100g (3½oz) ball in the following shades:
30g Spice (terracota)
30g Grass Green (green)
10g Lipstick (red)
10g Beige
Scrap amounts of black, white and pink yarn for the facial features

Needles:
3.5mm Straight needles

Other supplies:
Toy stuffing
Tapestry Needle
Two 12 mm safety eyes

Size:
19 cm from bottom of the plant pot to the top of the ears.

Abbreviations:
