This cropped chunky knit cardigan is so easy to create and it’s oversized look means it’s great for beginners if you’ve never made a garment before and are worried about sizing!

SIZE:
This cardigan is available in sizes from 84cm (33 inches) to 165cm (65 inches. It is designed to be worn with approximately 10-12cm (4-5 inches) ease around the bust.

Shoulder to hem is approximately 50cm (19 inches).

MATERIALS:

• Super Chunky (Size 6) Yarn. I used King & Eye Super Chunky Merino

Size 5 Approx 820m/896 yards

Size 6 Approx 890m/975 yds

Size 9 Approx 1100m/1200 yards

• 12mm (size 17) knitting needles. You will need 80cm circular needles for the collar so you may prefer to work the whole project on circular needles if you already have some in your collection.
• Scissors
• Measuring Tape

GAUGE:

8 stitches x 12 rows in 10x10cm (4x4) in stockinette stitch using 12mm needles.
