Carlazzo is an oversized, airy top with lacework in a contrasting color around the yoke. It is worked top down with minimal finishing, and in a very open gauge. The pattern also includes instructions for
long sleeves.

Because of the relaxed fit, it only comes in three sizes. The finished garments will have chest circumferences varying from 54.5 to 71.3 inches, and it can be worn with minimal ease as shown in
one of the examples. The lace section of the sweater is designed to have a tighter fit than the stockinette sections, in order for the lace to show properly.
