Carlos scarf
The Carlos scarf is the perfect scrappy and easy scarf to make ! Using all of your worsted and lace weight yarns, create a fun accessory for winter.
My intention was to create a simple and beginner friendly garter stitch scarf but with a twist. Instead of knitting from the bottom up, you will knit from side to side.
The pattern doesn’t include any abreviations to make it as easy to understand as possible. I also didn’t include any instructions as to when to change colors. I just changed mine whenever I ran out of yarn !
Size : The finished scarf measures about 1m80/90. If you would like it longer or shorter, cast on more or less stitches then recommanded.
Materials : about 250g of worsted weight yarn (or 2 strands of fingering weight yarn) held together with mohair (or any lace weight yarn)
As you’re using scrap yarn, it is difficult to give an exact amount of yarn needed.
Needles : 5 mm (US 9) 100cm (or more) circular needles
Gauge : 10cm = 15 stitches x 18 rows in garter stitch on 5 mm needles
