Carmen – a classic cardigan
A completely simple and classic cardigan, which you always ought to have in your wardrobe. This one is made in Önling No 1, which gives a wonderfully soft and beautiful cardigan. A true Favorite Knit… nothing less :0)

21 m and 28 rows in stockinette stitch on circular needle size 4 mm / US 6 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.

Directions
The cardigan is made in the round, top down, with extra stitches for the cutting stitches in the center front. Start by knitting back and forth while making increases for raglan sleeves and at the beginning of every row to shape the neckline. Afterwards, cast on stitches for the neck, as well as 15 extra stitches for cutting, and gather the work to a round. The yoke is made with increases at raglan. Hereafter the work is divided and both sleeves and body are worked separately. The body has a slight a-shape, which can be omitted.
