This purse is inspired by the feathers that are so significant at the yearly Carnival of Rio de Janeiro.

The purse is knitted in the round using the magic loop method. If you are not familiar with magic loop you can always knit the purse on dpns. You are starting from the bottom by knitting the body and then start working the feather laced lid. Last you are binding of for the top using picot bind of and sewing it all together. The colourful lining is optional but recommended since it will give the purse some extra stability.
