This poncho can double as a skirt. It is light and breezy, and could be worn lower on the shoulders or even around the bust as a swimsuit coverup. It may also be made longer (with additional yarn) to make it more like a strapless dress.
I made mine with two hooks: an N-15 (10 mm) and a 13.5 mm hook that I ordered from William Schmidt at turn-of-the-century.com If you don’t have (and don’t want to order) the 13.5 mm hook, you may switch to a commercial 15 or 16 mm hook. If you wear a small size (XS or S), you might want to use a P-16 (11.5 mm) as your larger hook.
