This wrap is all about playing with color. I used three colors for the sample you can use as many as you like. I made the halves different lengths and arranged differently you may do the same or do something entirely different. I knit the sample with Emma’s Yarn Practically Perfect Sock. I really liked working with this yarn and the colors are absolutely wonderful! Go grab some yarn and get playing!

Gauge: 22 sts and 36 rows = 4”/10 cm in Garter Stitch blocked. Gauge is not critical.
Notes:
This wrap is knit in two pieces from the ends toward the center. The mosaic patterns and stripes are worked in Garter stitch; the lace is worked in Stockinette stitch. Edge decreases are offset by center increases, creating an arrow shape which points towards the center. Live stitches from each piece are used to create a joining wedge at each side.
Where no color is specified at the beginning of a row, continue with the previous color. Throughout the pattern, I’ve suggested when to break the yarn for color changes. When not specified, I have carried the resting color. Use your best judgment. All stitches are slipped purlwise unless specified differently.
This wrap is all about color play so feel free to express yourself and experiment. You can change the number of colors or how the stitch patterns are arranged. For the sample Part One is 38”/96.5 cm long and Part Two is 48”/122 cm long; the lengths can be easily adjusted by adding, subtracting or rearranging rows or entire sections. Use your imagination!
