Carolin
Carolin was designed to be knit with a sock blank and, instead of trying to fight with the kinks and quirks that a sock blank yarn will have, it leans into those imperfections. It uses a combination of garter stitch and dropped stitches to create a light and airy fabric
that is anything but uniform. It begins with a modified garter tab to make a much longer and narrower crescent shape than what is usual, and it uses short rows to add a bit of asymmetry. This shawl will use up nearly all of a 115 g skein fingering weight sock blank.
