After I was sick earlier in the year, I began making smaller projects, and made a few squares. These squares got me excited thinking about how to join them together in various projects. This one requires six squares. The Caroline square can also be purchased separately if you wish.
Stitches You need to know
Magic circle, Or you may use traditional CH3, slip stitch to join, and continue
SC, single crochet
DC, double crochet
DC3tog, Begin 3DC without finishing, ending with four loops. Yarn over and pull through all four loops.
HDC, half double crochet
FPDC, front post double crochet
BPSC, back post single crochet
BPHDC, back post half double crochet
BPDC, back post double crochet
Crochet in the legs of a stitch=sometimes, crocheting into the normal stitch, willl leave an extra large gap. To crochet into the legs of the stitch, crochet into the V that is under the stitch itself instead of the normal top front and back part of the stitch.
3 DC cluster, 4 DC cluster=3 DC cluster/4 DC cluster=(yarn over insert hook into loop, pull up a loo hip, yarn over pull through two loops, yarn over insert hook into same loop, pull up a loop, yarn over pull through two loops, and repeat till you have four loops ( for 3 DC cluster), five loops on your hook,(for 4 DC cluster) yarn over and pull through all five loops, chain one to close.)
